Custom Donkey Kong Poster + Printing Q's

Post by 8-bit Legend »

Ok I have two things here....

For one thing I made a fantastic NES Donkey Kong Poster! And you can see it here.....

http://www.mediafire.com/?b1tvmyloxjjtqml

My question is how I should print it? I plan on printing it online using http://www.fullsizeposters.com (unless someone highly recommends a different site). Also, I'm worried about blurriness. It's a 6491 x 4745 pixel .jpg image and I plan on printing it on 20 inch by 27.32 inch photo paper. Do I have anything to worry about? Is it gonna turn out blurry? Any input would be extremely helpful! :D

That's 237 odd pixels per inch so it shouldn't get too jaggy.

Hate to do this, but your poster image (while good) does appear to have compression artifacts. You might want to draw over it. (Perhaps with Inkscape?)

EDIT: I mention this because your print might not turn out very well because of these artifacts.

Duh, I forgot to mention that I can't actually look at the picture because I denied cookies to Mediafire so it won't let me see it. I was simply commenting on the DPI versus the size you wanted to print it so obviously I can't comment on any compression like GSZX1337 did.
