Too many stories here of members having to repurchase an older collection sold. DON'T SELL. Gamecube games right now are cheap at Gamestop, small amount of money for the sell. 10 years later regretting when hard to find.
Especially notable is the Gameboy player capability.

Gameboys suck anyway. Seriously who plays that garbage?noiseredux wrote:CRTGAMER wrote:

In any case, we've definitely heard stories of people selling, then regretting, and rebuying at a much higher cost. Unless it is something desperate that you need money for (which it doesn't sound like this is), I'd mull it over for at least a couple months before you sell all the stuff.
Also, gameboy stuff is totally cool

Re: Thinking of selling off my gamecube collection
I would def keep it because unless you sold them here or something, you wont get ANYTHING for them. I remember I was at a store somewhere and someone was trying to sell a GameCube and they wouldn't take it in because they couldn't move them because no one wants one. And this wasn't a gamestop or anything. I have the feeling the Game Cube is gonna be like the PS1 of the last generation because of the backwards compatibility with the Wii. The GameCube is a little more than the PS1, but the PS1 is 6 years older. For most people the exclusive features of the GameCube Vs the Wii isn't going to matter. The only reason I can think of is the Game Boy Player.

Re: Thinking of selling off my gamecube collection
I will never sell rogue leader or super mario unless value goes through roof. The only game I thought was rare out of my collection was star fox assault(not in picture) which sells for about £15 over here in uk and I don't like the game that much but I have onlt played once. One of my mario karts does have demo disc and its a uk pal game so its not a us only game.
I just get the feeling in about ten years time game cube games are going to be very collectable but this is just a hunch just wonderd if anyone felt the same?
What makes it harder is that in uk we have differant print runs for games so i'm not 100% which of our games are rare.

Re: Thinking of selling off my gamecube collection
There are a couple reasons to still keep a 'Cube around. For one, the Broadband Adapter. You can run homebrew through it, play online games through Xlink [and as a GC-exclusive feature, play some games online that don't even support LAN!], and an Ethernet cable just looks awesome coming out of the Gamecube.Betamax001 wrote:I would def keep it because unless you sold them here or something, you wont get ANYTHING for them. component cables on most PS2's = no backwards compatibility, effectively.Betamax001 wrote: "I can't think of any reason to get a PS1 Vs. just using the PS2 I already have. "

Can you clarify this? I'm confused. (I'm very unfamiliar with the Sony consoles.)aaron wrote:
