Good update! Of the list, I've only played SFA3 Upper and was quite pleased with it except for one thing: The game features unlockable modes and characters that are permanently unlocked once accessed...which is great except that I bought mine used and wanted to start from scratch.

While I won't hold it against Capcom for not catering to the second hand market (from which they derive no income) it is kind of a notable blemish on an otherwise perfect game.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Very cool post. I like these homebrew efforts and the fact he is willing to put it on a cartridge is very interesting. I wonder if he puts a label on the game cartridge too? Either way, an interesting collector's piece.

Great idea to spotlight Anguna! I haven't spent a lot of time in it, but I did buy a cart to at least support the spirit. It did labeled and the cart is a cool blue color. :D

Hey Noiseredux. I just wanted to let you know I ordered a pretty neat toy to use with my Gamecube/ Gameboy Player. Its this item here

Its converts PS2 controllers to be used on your Gamecube. I got it in the mail yesterday and it works great. I am really excited about it because now I can use all my PS2 controllers, arcade sticks, steering wheels, ect on my Gamecube games, GBA games through the GBA Player, some Wii games, and virtual console games. There were a ton more controllers released for the PS2 than the Gamecube and now I can use some of those. For example now I can use my PS2 Street Fighter 15th anniversary arcade sticks for my GBA games for fighters such as Super Street Fighter 2, sidescrollers such as Final Fight One, and shmups such as Gradius Galaxies. I also have some other interesting controllers that might work well such as the Logitech wireless PS2 controller (with wireless rumble for Gamecube games!) and the Madcatz retro-con controllers. The possibilities are endless!

Question for avid readers of the blog:

Thus far I've only talked about GB, GBC, and GBA games. But I have talked up a lot of GCN accessories. Seeing as how the blog is about the GBPlayer and everything attached to it, do you think it makes sense to include discussion of GCN games? I obviously am a GCN fan as well, and have collected them since GCN's launch as well. But curious if that would, I don't know... throw people off?

Do it robot. Or atleast do a trial post and see if it takes. Whats the worst that could happen? Death threats and stingy emails?

oh yeah, those things are cool. I actually ordered a SNES/GCN adapter for similar purposes. I don't really have any PS1/PS2 controllers that are very cool. Plus, as a Nintendo fanboy, I like the idea of still having Nintendo items converted. HOWEVER, I must say that the PS2 SFII Anniversary Stick on the Cube to play SFII Turbo Revival is an AWESOME idea. Jealous!
