yes, i just got a email from usps stating that the item is more than likely lost. Sigh...this is BS! I just sent out an email to ebay and I will contact both usps and Ebay tomorrow regarding this BS.

if not your sol...well maybe few years ago i sent 3 packages out the day after christmas and all 3 were lost,but were retrieved a month later

i lost a game. i was returning it to the seller because it was in bad shape. 28 dollars worth of money...

Doh, if you sending it back and didn't get insurance and Delivery confirmation so you can show that it got lost once it entered the postal system you're pretty much screwed.

I sold a text book though ebay and it got lost in the mail. The USPS sent me a letter that contained a piece of brown wrapping paper with both mine and the buyers address that I used to wrap the package. They said they found it on the ground somewhere along its route and they asked me what it went to and if they found it they would ship it a long. I had to tell the buyer about it but I also reminded them that they did not buy insurance and that I was not responsible for it. eBay sided with me. I felt really bad for the buyer though, just not bad enough to eat the loss. Especially since I did not even offer insurance, but I guess they could have asked for it anyhow.

I had told eBay about the letter and told them I would send them a copy or a picture of it if they needed but they never asked for it.

well, i thought that the shipping label Ebay provided would be more than secure, so I didn't bother with any extra insurance. sigh...I had a feeling that something like this would happen to me. Ebay told me to wait a few more days and see if it does get an update, then contact usps. Ebay told me to file a claim with usps if the item is lost.
