If you're down in the dumps, it may be better for you to post more often. Get your mind off of things ya know?

Either way, hope things turnaround for you.

Well, there's your problem. You need to take the ones that make you feel less depressed, not more.

I hope everything gets better. Like they say, it gets darkest before dawn. One thing that always makes me laugh when feeling blue is the quote from Wayne's World. "I thought I had mono for an entire summer once, but it turns out I was just really bored."

Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck. I know it might sound stupid right now but chin up man. You are still young and you have lots of good life ahead of you. Step out with a positive attitude and make the best of your old life while you build a new one. Go out with some friends and have a good time.

Of course none of that does anything to help your health situation but you can get a lot out of improving that situation too if you try hard enough. Look at improving your health as a challenge and add some exercise that you can enjoy like jogging on the beach (if you have one) or a nice park or something. If you have to stick to a new diet then challenge yourself to create delicious new healthy meals that you will love. I know it all sounds a bit cheesy but if you make the most out of the cards you've been dealt it can really help and there is a lot of enjoyment to be gained from a healthy lifestyle.

I'm not advocating against the meds if you feel like you need them then by all means take them but I wouldn't personally hang around the house and stop communicating and living my life while I relied on the pills to make me better. Being proactive might be hard at first but it can become second nature if you work at it.

Now that all my unsolicited advice is spent let me just say that you always seemed like a cool guy and I really hope you can make it out of your slump and improve your health.

EDIT: BTW, if your friends aren't dragging you out of the house kicking and screaming and forcing you to have a good time you should look into making some new ones.

You know that the Racketboy community is here to cheer you up when you're down. Try to keep a positive attitude and do things to keep you preoccupied, such as playing video games

It's always good to see you posting in topics, and I hope for the best for you.

Like Luke said, maybe posting more often on here might help your boredom/loneliness.
Then again, it is always good to get out of the house and be with close friends, just relaxing.

Whatever you do, we are always here for you and if you need to talk to anyone on here, we are here.

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
