WeaponLord is awesome

I have been taking the "hidden gem" articles seriously and ordered a copy of WeaponLord for only a few bucks and I have to say it is pretty damn impressive for a 16bit fighter. I have only been playing it in short sessions for a couple of days so I haven't mastered much yet but I have been getting used to its rather unique game play.

I like how a lot of the special moves have you hold down a button and then manipulate the d-pad. For example you can hit B twice while keeping it held down on the second attack to then led into a third special attack by simply imputing the correct sequence on the d-pad.

I would love to see a sequel or a remake one day.

yes it is. it's like the first Soul Calibur for me.

Not as much love as I would have hoped. Perhaps in the near future I will write a review.
