Geez guys, I just can't get past this second boss! I've had the NES on for more than 26 hours now. I gotta do it though!

too bad. I'd love to make a GBA repro-cart of Mother 1+2.

Earthbound. This is by far the best game on your list of choices.

Hard one, but I am one of the VERY few people voting for replaying Paper Mario...That game is always fun, never overtly frustrating, and it'll keep you busy for awhile with all that retro mario goodness. If it's serious challenge you're after, you could go for beating Ninja Gaiden though. Any in the trilogy. Those games will kick your a$$ to next tuesday.

Well after leaving the NES on for 3 days straight, stuck on the second final boss, I gave up.
I will try again one day, but for now it is at rest.
Earthbound is next!

Screw Ninja Gaiden. The last act of the game is one of the cheapest gaming experiences ever. Seriously, screw that game. The satisfaction of beating the game will never make up for the frustration and abuse that you have to go through in order to finally beat the last boss. Sure you get some major bragging rights, but how many people really even get how much of an accomplishment it really is today?
I voted Earthbound. But I'm currently playing Metroid Prime, and I think it's great. You can't go wrong either way.

Re: What to play next...
So I started Earthbound for the first time last night.(Technically not the first time, as I created the file a couple months ago)
I'm about an hour or 2 into the game, and I really like it! I'm level 12 already, and I just beat that "Titanic Ant" Guy.
At first I wasn't really fond of the battle system, but I've grown to love it already.
Thanks for the suggestion!
