~Need some help with my future Luigi-based tattoo!

Alrighty, I intend to get my fourth tattoo soon, and I've known for awhile that it MUST be Luigi. He is my favorite game character since I first started playing video games and was introduced to him. I dunno why, he just is. So to help represent my love of retro video games, I want to get a tattoo of 80's style Luigi. But not just a simple generic image of Luigi that was recycled for old advertisements for games like Super Mario Bros 2. I mean I would love to find an image of Luigi from the 80's or early 90's that has that distinct retro feel and is a more obscure image. Maybe one found on some random old Mario Bros. merch, something from Japan, etc. In other words, a less commonplace image of Luigi that would make for a cool tattoo. Preferably not fan art, but something that was actually licensed by Nintendo and whatnot. I've been looking myself, but it's hard for me to sift through AALLL the fan art. Yep, I'm a lil picky, but I guess I'm permitted that since the image would be on my body for the rest of my life.

So what I'm asking is, does anybody have any cool images of Luigi from back in the day, some that aren't as widely posted? Anything to inspire a cool and/or funny-lookin more unique retro luigi tat? I want to get that bad boy on meh ASAP! Thanks!

Ahh that's cool! I didn't know there was a Mario BROS game for the atari 2600... I like how they have their names on their hats haha. Reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom slapped my name on every damn thing I owned.

Wow, those are both cool images. I wish I liked Luigi that much or had some significant connection to him or something else worth getting tattooed. Heh, I'll be looking forward to whatever else is posted.

Just an idea , but i normally draw pre-existing characters, but often gross and well I don't know how to explain, but it would be an honor to draw out an angry luigi tatoo in this style

i have a few friends with tattoos and one with around 5 or so. i am always curious about what people get and where.
