I've never liked Friday the 13th on the NES all that much, mostly because of the unreasonable map. The fact that my copy is glitched so that houses warp you into the woods and vice versa doesn't help either.

BTW, if anyone needs a NES 4 Player Adapter, please give me a shout. :)

F13 is fun. But mostly I love it out of nostalgia and the fact that I'm such a huge fan of the movies. But NOES is a great game.

well Friday The 13th is another favorite of mine. And LJN's RBI Baseball is still one of my favorite Baseball games of all time. There's other good ones, if I take the time to think about it...
I don't think LJN was involved with RBI Baseball. It was published by Tengen, and, according to Wikipedia, developed by Namco.

LJN did publish Major League Baseball, but I've never played it. I'm sure it sucks, though, since it's LJN.

(That last sentence was a joke.)

I was tired when I wrote "RBI"... I did mean Major League Baseball (the LJN one). I liked that one a lot.

My wife loves to play Friday the 13th too. I think it is her favorite NES game up there with Star Tropics. I remember I used to not like the game and the I read about it and saw that there is a goal you are actually trying to accomplish and work towards and the game made much more sense. It is an adventure game of sorts more than an action game I guess.

LJN made some badass toys when I was a kid too. I used to go to TRU and my grandma would get me the Dungeons & Dragons toys they were making in the early 80's. I always want to buy back a collection of them but all I have right now is the Warduke figure.
