Im out of the loop

Post by Ivo »

Why is this a big deal?
There's many good RE games out there right - is 1.5 so different from the others?

(this is a genuine question, I'm ignorant about it and interested to know your opinions)

It's a big deal because it's a game in a well-loved series that never saw the light of day. You'd feel the same if a similar event occurred with one of your favorite franchises.

Like Sonic X-Treme....
Although, with that I know why it wasn't released...

So WHY on earth was this particular thread given the subject URGENT-help?

Mason, the subject should reflect the substance and nature of the request.

2 thumbs down.

Yeah, that's why Mozgus couldn't find it by searching when the topic of 1.5 came up again.
I just changed the subject description

Indeed. I relish every new undiscovered information about Shenmue (i.e that video of the canned Saturn version).

I'm not a huge fan of Resi Evil but even I would love to see this "released".

You never know, with enough demand Capcom could include this as an extra with Resi Evil 5....well we can wish for something like that.

I'm more interested in seeing some playable versions of the 2 RE4s before they scrapped them and settled on the generic action shooter it is today. The 2nd version of RE4 was very interesting, with the ghosts and such, and the flashlight mechanic that resembled Alone in the Dark 4.

Topic change FTW!

I just never could get into the Resident Evil games. I can't stand the rotation-style control scheme. Maybe I would be OK with that if it came with a rotating joystick like those arcade games used to use, like Smash TV and Heavy Barrel.

I'm probably wrong on this but wasnt there like 4 previous versions that they scrapped? I remember reading an article on it ages ago and I THINK it said they scrapped like 4 versions before they settled on the one that was released.

Well we were only shown 2 of the scrapped versions. One was a Leon in a bell tower type place if I remember right. Another was in a traditional mansion. There's a lot of subtle differences between the two. If there are any others, I just don't care. You can find a lengthy play through of the 2nd version.
