The Parodius games on PS1 are must-owns.

If you like run-and-gun titles, also check out Rapid Reload / Gunners Heaven.

Try Kyuin (Vacuum Kids). Its a unique Japan only horizontal shooter. Its mentioned on the PS1 section.
