Maybe if SMB3 had a save function and would let you replay levels (like SMW) then it could be a completely different story.
Well there is the Super Mario All Stars version.

Yeah, but it's still not the same.

EDIT: if the famicom is so perfectly designed then why are the cords so short?
And have my mum wash out my mouth with soap? No thank you. I never swear.

I don't remember saying the cords are so short.

Could be a lot of things. I'll go with Shawn Michaels and HHH in about 1997? That was pretty fucking funny.

Back on topic, I like SMB3 because the Super Famicom cords are too short to really enjoy SMW.

They're not even in the same league. SMB 3 is FAR better than Super Mario World. I'd even pick Sonic 1 over Super Mario World

I disagree. Super Mario World has better graphics, than Super Mario Brothers 3. Also, King Koopa rides in a clown copter that goes upsidedown. These facts, combined with giant ghosts, make SMW very funner.

Honestly, both games kick serious ass and should both be rated 11/10, just like Working Designs games.

For the record, I also like playing Sonic1 more. Not that it's a better game, but it's easier to just pick up and play for a few minutes.

With that, I'll just say that Donkey Kong is the best game ever and quit trolling this thread!

Haven't you ever seen the adverts for Working Designs' games?
At the bottom right corner, Victor Ireland say, and I quote, "Our games go to 11!"

The thing SMB3 has on World is the 'secrets' aspect (ie, warps, whistles, hidden blocks white blocks, etc.). Mario World didn't have nearly enough of them, though Star Road made up somewhat for this. Also, the giant world. I've wished for years that they had included a 'larger than normal enemy' area in Mario World.

However, in my opinion:
1.Visuals are better, better color and character animation
2. Snes controller is better, making control better
3. Mode 7 Bowser battle
4. And I don't know why more people aren't saying YOSHI!

Also, it's real. It actually took place, where as Mario 3 is just a theatre play...
