Racketboy To Be Mentioned in Retro Gamer Magazine
It's not like I'm getting a full write-up or anything, but I will supposedly be added to the list of top classic gaming websites in their magazine.

Never even heard of it. Is this correct?

Its not in the states, so I guess that's why.

Yup that's them -- They are sold in most Barnes & Noble bookstores. But usually, they only have like 3 issues in stock each month there. A classic gaming magazine would never survive in the US alone.Mozgus wrote:Never even heard of it. Is this correct?

I have a number of issues myself. I think they did go under after a while, then got picked up by a different publisher...Ivo wrote:Dude, they still make those? I thought they went out after a few issues?
I have two issues and they are nice mags. Any UK people here have some issues of it?
Ivo.

Yeah each issue will run you about $10 USD. I don't pick up every one, but I'll thumb through them and buy the ones with topics that interest me.Jimmy Yakapucci wrote:I had picked it up for about a year at my local Borders Express, but when they changed publisher, they stopped carrying it. That and the huge price tag kind of put me off. Also, with tons of the magazine devoted to retro-computers, especially the British ones, it didn't seem like a good deal.

British mags tend to be pricy, but by and large they are much higher quality than any US counterparts. I'm not that pleased with the new publisher's direction for RetroGamer Mag, but it's still a good read.racketboy wrote:Yeah each issue will run you about $10 USD.
