Club Nintendo Rewards Announced

Seems that this year we're being offered 2011 Calendars for gold members and a Super Mario Character Figurine for the platinum members. However, plat. members can choose either reward.

Who's getting what? I had enough left over surveys and codes from last year so that I was able to get platinum this year from my back catalog. Next year might not work out so well since I've ran out of codes but we'll see how it goes.

This reminded me to check how many points i had (cos i never had used them) and 5000+ points expired who knows when... I cried a little... What's this gold and platinum member thing then? How does one become such a member?

During the Club Nintendo year (july-june) if you register so many points you're eligible for free rewards, just for being such a cool guy. The points expired a while back when the transitioned Club Nintendo from being solely a product registration and community site into the rewards site it currently is. Pretty much anything before the Wii or later DS titles were no longer eligible for points.

Sadly though i just got this in my email conformation from nintendo:

Your Club Nintendo Elite Status reward order has been accepted.

Your reward will be delivered by the end of December 2010. You
will receive an email when your order ships.

Ended up with a Platinum this year since I hadn't registered a bunch of stuff for a year or two... glad I waited for this because I like video game figurines

I got platinum last year so i thought it would carry over this year since my coins didn't change. Dammit, I want that figurine!

Anyone have any extra coins they want to give me so I can at least get one of the Game & Watch Collections before my coins expire.

So have you ordered it yet? The website was giving me trouble when I was trying to order I had over 1000 coins but I was getting this message "You are not eligible for this Elite Status Reward."
