Ivy The Kiwi

Yuji Naka, the magnificent creator of Sonic The Hedgehog, has graced us with a new game! He was at E3, in one of the low key booths, showing off his new game, Ivy The Kiwi. The English release is August.

I must say, it looks promising, cost effective, and fun. My eye is on the DS version, come August.

A new IP?

Ooh I hope this is good. I'll keep my eye on it as well.

EDIT: It looks fun, but I hope the whole game isnt that sickly brown shade. It is kinda depressing.

I remembered reading about this game from Nintendo Power. Since it was created by Yuji Naka, I'll try to pick it up for DS.

Looks magnificent. I'm a sucker for some stylish cover art -- I'm surprised how closely it adheres to the gameplay.

This is on my must-have list, now. I suppose you buggers are going to pre-order it from Japan?


Sheee-it. Amazon has it listed for $29.99. Love me some budget titles, too.

personally i kinda like the look of the cover. it makes it look as if it were an old story book.

This looks adorable, and will hopefully be a cute sidescroller like Sonic.
Gonna have to remember to nab it when it comes out. :)

Think he was referring to screenshots where the whole game has a sepia look to it.
