Probably the most important question you'll answer all day:
Do you have a beard, and if so, how much damage could you do with it?
Who here rocks the beard?
Who here rocks the beard?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

would love to grow one, but sadly whenever I've tried it looks like a trainwreck and I give up disheartened.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. Funny you should mention it. I JUST shaved my beard this evening after having it with me since October. I feel so very naked...and young!
As far as the gauge of my stubble, think Carl's chest from ATHF.

Re: Who here rocks the beard?
My beard is too thick to grow out... I mean my whiskers are too thick. I always have 3-4 whiskers growing out of a single follicle. They grow like straight away from my face and they itch like hell for the entire time I have the beard. I grew it out for months a while back and couldn't wait to shave it the entire time. It only got as long as it did because I was also too lazy to shave it.. I was very aware that it was there. When I laid down it felt like I was laying on a bed of pins. This problem is the reason I can't shave with a blade. I need to use hair clippers, which means I always have a slight scruff, but not much damage there.
Re: Who here rocks the beard?
I just hate shaving so I usually only do it once every couple weeks. I don't know if what I have at the end of the two weeks could be called a beard but whatever.

Have some hair on my chin and below my lip, but only because I can't feel that part of my face at the moment and don't want to fuck up shaving it.

Thanks to the werewolf, we already have a thread for this.
Re: Who here rocks the beard?
I usually let mine grow for a few weeks, trim it down to stubble, then repeat. I hate shaving.

Re: Who here rocks the beard?
I have really thick whiskers that just don't shave for crap. Electric razors jam on them. They clog safety razors. I haven't tried a straight, but I'm afraid I'll get too egregious and cut myself since I manage to slice my neck up every time with even safety razors. I usually just use a beard trimmer though that sometimes grabs too. If I've let it get too thick I pull out the hair trimmer to attack.
I usually keep a goatee of some shape or other and sideburns come and go in different shapes too. I usually get pretty itchy in the summer too if I let things go, but somehow the last 2 weeks haven't been bad or I've been even more lazy than usual. I think I'll go trim the hedge now.

Ah, much better.

This is why I use a good old hair clipper... if you don't need an extremely close shave.Hobie-wan wrote:I have really thick whiskers that just don't shave for crap. Electric razors jam on them.
