I would have, but after i turned off my NES, just as I had every time before, my save data completely erased. Bummer. So I've been too lazy to get back to second quest.

They aren't hard games, but Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Two amazingly beautiful and fun games.

I beat Ack in Street Fighter Alpha 2 once, thats gotta count for something.
The back history here is that while we are usually fairly matched on most fighters, Ack has an affinity for the Alpha series. In the seven or eight years we have been playing it, I have only beaten him once...
Personal achievements aside, beating:
- Mario Lost Levels (including the alphabet stages - C3 still haunts me though)
- Castlevania 1
- Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing - the version we used when I was growing up crashes if you type over 100 wpm. Take that you old hag!

Re: Games that you are proud that you have beaten.
I have completed most of the classic NES games...so, I would have to say:
Contra (without "the Code");
Battletoads;
Ninja Gaiden; and (now that people consider them hard)
all of the Mega Man games.
NES aside, I would have to say:
R-Type (PS1 "R-Types" version);
Contra: Shattered Soldier (PS2); and
The Red Star (PS2).

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter on "Serious" difficulty. I'm still ticked that the achievements are glitched

I beat Trojan for NES when I was like 11 or 12. That game was hard as hell.
