Nope, its actually based off the first boss from Life Force.

...who's name is Golem. At least in the US NES manual anyway. So that's a yes then.Unleaded Logic wrote:Thaks!Hobie-wan wrote:Nice rievew. Is the new logo supposed to be Golem?

Nice review. Never heard of the Golem 13 series before but I may have to check em out now.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Whoops! You are correct, sorry! I always thought his name was Zelos, but now that I think about it, that was the last boss. My excuse is that I never had a manual.Hobie-wan wrote:...who's name is Golem. At least in the US NES manual anyway. So that's a yes then.Unleaded Logic wrote:Thaks!Hobie-wan wrote:Nice rievew. The first one can be frustrating, but it has its fun spots.Droid party wrote:Nice review. Never heard of the Golem 13 series before but I may have to check em out now.

Heh, I wasn't meaning to be an all-knowing jackass or anything. For some reason it's name popped in my head, though when you replied I had to go back and check my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. Though I see we managed to trip up Droid as he said "Golem 13" in his post.Unleaded Logic wrote: Whoops! You are correct, sorry! I remember renting the first game when I was a kid and giving up in the building part because I wasn't mapping it.

No worries, I bow down before you gaming knowledge and it least my logo has a proper name now!
"Golem 13" (Ha!) wasn't as bad for me when I first played it because I had the Nintendo Power issue with some of the maps. They didn't map the last building though and that one was a major pain in the ass!
