Playstation one-boston

Post by mason »

SO i got this ps one, but the video doesn't play on it. SO i opened it up, cleaned the contacts, changed the av cables, still doesn't work, i figure it's a goner. If anyone has ever had a ps one with no video, but sound let me know if u figured out how to fix it. But if not if anyone knows any shops to buy a playstation one just alone or anyone for like 10 bucks id really appreciate it. in boston

When you opened the unit did you check that the output socket hasn't broken free of the solder on the board.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

my dad and I opend it up, everything looks perfect, however there is gooey stuff on the back of the circuit board, so he spread some kind of special cleaner on it to avail.
