Singularity?

So it's a bit Half-Life 2 as well. In fact, it's more than a bit Half-Life 2, because it does that clever Valve thing of changing up the way you play often enough to avoid fatigue setting in. There are plenty of run-and-gun sections, but then you get a new weapon, or you're given some advice that changes the way you play.
That paragraph alone sold me on the game. It's a pity that sites like EG don't list the full features of the games they review (I hope it has local co-op but somehow I seriously doubt it)

Edit -Uh oh.. This is a Raven game and Activision are publishing it. No wonder why there's no hype surrounding the release. Demonic sons of bitches.

Raven did the wonderful Quake 4. Should be good...

I wouldn't go that far. It's a pretty good game though. Quite under-rated.

Wow, it finally came out. I first saw that image like 2-3 years ago. If it can master the evolving game mechanic style of a Valve game, I will definitely be interested.

It seems this game and Metro both suffer from wobbly aim. The Bioshock-esque audio tapes are cliched and uninspired, but the atmosphere is pretty good.

Nevermind the wobbly aim, it gets better farther into the game. So am I the only one who bothered playing this one?

No, I played it.
I didn't finish it.
Or even get to the point where you get a gun.

As clumsy as the story goes in this game at least the ending gives closure, unlike Half Life. The world could end before that bastard Gabe would conclude things, if he ever intended to that is.

Just goes to show unless you massively market the games there's no chance whatsoever for new franchises, internet following be damned etc.
