That sounds so freaking cool, mine's a model MVC-FD75 if that helps.CRTGAMER wrote:I read, I kid you not a couple years ago about a certain Kodak floppy would run Mame early Arcade games.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I also managed to finally get an old FD-Mavica floppy disk camera that I've always wanted for only $5 at goodwill!

Nice! I had one when they 1st came out, a couple months back I got my dad one with a case and battery charger for $10 at the local goodwill.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I also managed to finally get an old FD-Mavica floppy disk camera that I've always wanted for only $5 at goodwill!
Not sure here is an article to help start your search, something about the floppies.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:That sounds so freaking cool, mine's a model MVC-FD75 if that helps.CRTGAMER wrote:I read, I kid you not a couple years ago about a certain Kodak floppy would run Mame early Arcade games.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I also managed to finally get an old FD-Mavica floppy disk camera that I've always wanted for only $5 at goodwill!
Thanks man. That looks really cool actually. Any idea where I could get one for cheap, maybe online? I have a Madkatz steering wheel, one of those universal xBox/GCN/PS2 wheels, and I would love to use it for this game.CRTGAMER wrote:Congrats on the permit, practice in Nascar Racing 4.Josh wrote:PS2 Madkatz Multitap - a buck.
NASCAR Racing 4 for PC - 2 bucks.
I'm not much of a PC gamer, and I'd rather get a USB steering wheel of some sort unless I can set my PS3 or 360 pad to work on it. I tried to get my Logitec pad to work on it, but the steering controls were all messed up. Any recommendations as to what pad/wheel to get or any sort of hacks or mods for NR4 would be appreciated.
And for the first time, I drove to the Goodwill instead of getting a ride. God I love having a permit.![]()
Since you already have a buncha PSX controllers, a USB adaptor?
Yeah, it just uses floppies instead of SD cards which is kinda cool in a cyberpunk retro-futuristic sense. My model isn't one of the ones that can play MAME (It's a Sony not a Kodak.) but I'm pretty sure it'll still be able to take decent tiny pics for stuff on ebay and such.Josh wrote:Also, pretty cool pickup on the Kodak Floppy camera, I've never seen one of those before. Is it just like a camera that uses floppies instead of SD cards or something? Because that looks awesome how it can run MAME like that.
