Need help with this

Post by chaoviceroy »

Okay ive spent multiple hours trying to burn a virtual cop 2 iso and a virtual cop 2 bin/cue. I cant get it to work. I know how to burn them regularly. I have backups burned of plenty of other games that run fine. I have backups that Ive region patched that run fine. When i region patch the bin/cue from Euro and attach the cue the disk reads incorectly. When i tryed to convert the mp3 to wav files for the iso, make a new cue, and then mount it, i recieved an error stating 44100 sound something. Can anyone help me. Im dieing to get this game burned correctly, and ive wasted numerous cds and hours attempting it.

can you post the cue sheet you're using along with the exact error your getting about the sound (44100 sounds like one of the hz range parameters of the audio... could of been you conversion to .wav was wrong).

What are you using to burn? Most .cue sheets will tell the burner to turn .mp3's (or ogg or other formats) into the .cda (wav) format on burn.

First off, i dont have the cue sheet anymore, and i deleted the iso/mp3/wav once i converted it. but the full error is "unable to mount. sampling rate must be 44100." Im mounting the .cue file on Deamon tools and copying the cd wtih CloneCD. Nero, and Alcohol wont burn under 8x for me. So thats why i was converting the files.

As of now im using the bin/cue file off of this site http://snesorama.us/board/showthread.php?t=6435. I can change the region but when i burn it, all i get is the songs. The bin file works fine with SFF but with the cue it dosnt even run. :(

I just downloaded the image, it doesn't appear to made up of mp3 files or anything. It is just a raw bin with all the audio held in it. Like most regular bin/cue's.

What mp3's are you converting? Did you mount this and then rip it again to a iso/mp3 format?

The converter should be able to deal with full bin/cue's and should be done directly to this and then just burned from the cue sheet with any burner you want. I'm gonna convert and burn it right now andsee if it works for me.

so I just patched the .bin file itself with the satconv tool (downloaded from segaXtreme.net). I burned it at 40X speed in Nero onto Taiyo-Yuden disks using a generic TSSTcorp CD burner.

it works fine for me

why are you converting it to iso/wav? does your burning software not accept bin/cue or something?

My words must of confused you. This is the second file ive tried. This is the bin/cue one. I no longer have the iso/mp3 format version. Sorry for the confusion. I didnt need to convert anything except the region. I region patched it with the most recent version of the patcher, then mounted the cue and burned it. The only problem is the game didnt work when it was burned.

Later i tested the mounted cue on ssf and it didnt load. it just was black and said disk drive open. Thanks for helping me btw.

why are you mounting it first?

Try just burning directly with the cue file.

You don't have to burn under 8X
