I'm ambidextrous. Won't have any problems whatsoever. I was born left handed and forced to write with my right hand at school. As such my hand writing is still complete ass in my right hand, and just as legible as my unpracticed left hand writing. Every day I use both hands in equal amounts. Makes dismantling things extremely quick because I can unscrew more than one thing at once. I have duplicates of all my screw drivers/wrenches etc. I can't imagine what it would be like to only have a dominant hand. It just boggles my mind.

Thank you to the guy who is left handed but plays a right handed guitar. Left handed guitars just should NOT exist at all. You don't get fucking left handed violins etc. No reason at all for a lefty to play a left handed guitar. They're at a fucking advantage to start with if they play a proper guitar. Higher left hand dexterity is a massive bonus to learning an instrument where all the work is done in your left hand to begin with. Learning to pick is something both left and right handed guitarists have to learn, you don't have an advantage being right handed as far as picking goes. It's the same learning curve.

My friend's a lefty, always grew up playing right handed guitars upside down.

He eventually bought a lefty guitar but re-stringed it backwards. He's not a bad guitarist either, I don't know how the hell he manages to play it like that.

This happened to my uncle too (born in the 50's) in italy. Reason why he never finished middle school.

They forced me to write right handed in preschool and I live in the USA. In elementary/primary they let me write left handed.

This was the case with me as well.

I alslo agree with Niode, left handed guitars shouldn't exist. I actually feel lefty people have the advantage with guitars, considering the right hand just does for the most part simple rythmic work.

Your mother is dangerous, being left-handed does not make me evil or anything.
I hope you're one of the smart ones :P

That's about as ambigious as it gets  I use a writing style similar to Barack Obama and some teachers used to frown upon this but when you're among the top three of your class certain things can be overlooked  (not gloating, my GPA is shit and I'm not fond of academia)
