I just realized that technically Lufia II is "Rise of the Left Handers.".
And in that game your goal is to defeat the Left Handers. Even the last bastion of positive left-handed role models, Link, has crossed over to the proper side.

It will probably be just like the DS. Any game that is heavy on the touchscreen and buttons will have the dpad and ABXY do the same thing. Other than that, we are both screwed.

yeah I kind of doubt that there will be many games which use both the analog stick and the touchscreen extensively

It would be rather strange using the analog stick and touch pad at the same time. I would probably end up dropping the thing...

But if I don't drop it that would be good for shooters.

By the way, you can get use to it. It's weird thinking that sometimes the joystick/DPad is on the right and others it's on left. Like the 2600 had it on the right and new systems have it on the left.

You wouldn't think they'd change it to the left, because most people are right handed, and that's where the most intrigate movement is. But we got used to it.

So, now I know I'm definitely not buying one.

This must be some kind of joke thread. How is this a flaw in the 3DS if almost all consoles and handhelds were built with right-handers in mind? How did you survive? Good thing I am ambidextrous and could careless either way. If anything this design screws over right-handers because if they have to press button and use the stylus the D-pad is in a more akward position.

It's not a problem for most things, but using the analog stick while using the stylus would be horrible for left handers like myself. Do you not see how that works?

I was gonna razzberry too, realized the stylus-writing hand is an issue.

I've only ever played a DS once (it was a demo at Toys R Us, I think), and thought the whole touchscreen was awkward.

I'm a southpaw, but I use a mouse and play guitar right-handed. I'm sure I could get used to a stylus with a little practice. Believe it or not, I can even type with two hands!

I'm in the same boat and yeah haha typing with 2 hands, that's something I can do as well. However, I can't hold a pen right or play games with the stylus using my right hand.
