I bet it would keep consoles cooler since they have more airspace underneath them, too.
Yeah, I came across them at Walmart. I actually got the ones in the dishes/laundry section that was like a couple bucks each, and got a bigger one for my computer desk so I could put my xbox 360 under, and my tv on top of to keep better ventilation.

I have 3 milk crates stacked next to my computer desk for cd's and various other computer related things, I'm thinking of relocating the PS2/Gamecube/Saturn/Dreamcast there, clearing out those pesky CD's and utilizing that extra bookshelf space. Plus it'd keep me from having to run wire across the floor.

While I hate messy setups and wires hanging out the front drive me crazy, I can forgive you for the awesome amount of quality games you have in your collection. Good stuff, tidy it up a bit and it would look amazing.

Thanks, and yeah I actually have a ton of time tomorrow I will be dedicating to an all around room cleanup of wires. I'm torn between a semi permanent solution (plastic wireties) or a removable one (velcro ties). What do you all use, or could recommend? I'm going to be consolidating all of my stereo, PC and TV wires as well as my general game setup. Maybe a combination of the two types?

I don't use anything really, but if I need to loop something I'll use zip ties. I put away controllers with rubber bands. And I also use those things that nail into the wall to hold wires against it to keep wires off the heater.

To be honest I picked that one up for around 4 dollars, I just checked online and had no idea it was worth somewhat over 20 bucks!

Another side thought, I might sell off some of my Nintendo stuff that I don't care too much for in favor of ones I have yet to try or better known ones, like Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64, etc. I grew up with Atari/Sega, and have been admittedly lagging on my Nintendo stuff. I just only got a gamecube a few months ago.

Good call. I use rubber bands for my controllers as well. Thanks for your suggestions.

I use a combo, mostly Velcro. It doesnt really matter, I use electric tape on my genny because the AV cable is so long.

Just a quick update: I ended up moving my consoles from the bookshelf to the milkcrates next to my pc setup, pictures will come as soon as everything is completed. Progress has been slow due to work and other personal things in my life.

I am also slowly going through a ton of CD's that were given to me a while ago by a local radio station, and never had the chance to listen to most of them. This is happening while I finish everything else lmao.

Also, I'd like to thank the many people who viewed and also those who commented on my collection. I think I am done with the bulk of my collection for now, and possibly will be 'weeding' out some o the titles I don't care for.
