Xonticus's Game Collection! (Many Pictures)

Post by Xonticus »

Hey everyone, I am getting around to cleaning stuff out and decided to start taking pictures of my games. I've done most of my retro stuff ( I think...) but will update later on with some of my newer stuff. I'm not sure about photographing every one of my systems, but I might snap some of the ones not in use.

Image
My current collection view. A bunch of my stuff is tucked away, though. The Genesis/CD, Dreamcast, Saturn, Gamecube, PS2 are all connected to the AV Switch since they are not next to my TV. This is just for display purposes, and constantly shifts around due to reorganization.

The next set of photos are my games displayed out. I tried to get the best angle I could, with the worst lighting.

Very cluttered! With random wires hanging all over the place. But, you sure have quite a lot of games.

Nice set of games - I especially like your Sega-centric stuff. A decent set of PS1 games too :D

You need to do something about some of those big yellow stickers though...

Yeah, it was my temporary solution, not much room in here to fit them. My main goal was to make it all work with a TV on a desk about 6 feet away. Again, I'm in the process of cleaning/rearranging stuff; the first few pics are almost a "before" perspective.

Big Sega guy here! Yeah, I need to go through and remove them.

Nothing wrong with controller wires. Proves the consoles are hooked up and ready to play. Unplugging and or cord wrapping on controller after each session just tears them up. I leave controllers plugged in all my consoles too.

I wasn't talking as much about the controller wires as the other wires. Like the audio cable from the front of the genesis down to other shelves. I would tuck it underneath and try to hide it as well as possible.

Okay, agree loop non-controller wires outta the way.

Yeah, I have to plan out a better system for doing such.

I also like the idea of using those locker organizer shelf things to double shelf space. Before I got more space I was wondering what I should use to do that, I can't believe I didn't think of that.

I bet it would keep consoles cooler since they have more airspace underneath them, too.
