Nintendo's next console

We all should know about the 3ds by now, and how it is arguably more powerful than the wii. This means that nintendo must be nearly finished in developing a wii 2, but what is it going to be like? What features is it going to have?

I personally think that a 3D home console would fail, because very very few people own a 3dtv, unless it has a built-in screen like the 3ds. (If nintendo made a 3d lcd tv, with a wii 2 built in, that would be pretty cool)

What are your predictions for the next nintendo home console?

They should take a note from the Vectrex and put a 3D screen and console together. The motion bar will be built in as well, and with at minimum BC for Wii, hopefully for gamecube again.

My dream setup is already cluttered:

Large CRT on small TV Stand with shelves on either side containing consoles. The top shelf of each side would contain two 19" CRTs. Directly above the large CRT would be a large LCD TV mounted on the wall.

Nintendo will not be releasing another console this soon. look how long the DS has been around. If Nintendo announced a new system id be shocked and people would be pissed!

This, but more because the Wii is still selling so well. There is no reason for Nintendo to think about releasing a new console until sales for the Wii plummet.

They probably wouldn't get rid of motion control as it is selling like crazy, and all the other companies are copying them. What will happen, is Microsoft/Sony will release their crap and then Nintendo will release something that will be completely original, and they will copy that, too.

Nintendo really does do original stuff with most of their systems, then other companies just copy. I really don't see how someone can just not like Nintendo.
