I find no reason to change this tradition, but I wonder whether corruption plays a role here? (of course it'd be ridiculous to accuse this particular ref of anything of the sort)

Oz might as well just pack up and leave.. So many red cards I wonder how do they expect to keep playing  Definitely my least favourite team of them all.

actually some times refs get penalized if they make too many huge mistakes

Yeah, I'd be surprised if this one didn't at least get some time off.

Now going to watch 2nd half of Brazil vs Côte d’Ivoire.. Why are the veterans struggling against the 'newcomers' this time?

Of national teams with long winning streaks/potential I believe Brazil and the Netherlands have a pretty good chance of leaving home with the cup, but take my predictions with a "handful" of salt. Maradona also might surprise us still.

Fucking disgraceful refereeing once again in this World Cup. Côte d'Ivoire is disgusting bunch of violent cowards. They almost broke the leg of Elano and, in the 2nd half, turned the pitch into a ring. The ref was such a failure that he had the temerity of red carding Kaká instead of the whole team of Côte d'Ivoire. Really, I'm pissed.

 Yes the ref sucked, but why aren't you complaining about the hand ball goal?
