E Reader

Post by CAv »

I found an e reader today at a thrift store for $2 and its kinda resparked my interest in it. I know its just another of Nintendo's failed gimmicks, but I kind of like the thing. I haven't heard anything about it in ages. Is there any sort of active e reader scene out there, or has it completely gone the way of the virtual boy?

I remember reading about that in a magazine when I was younger, I always just thought that I could "cheat" and print off the things with a computer printer. I don't think you can, now...

Not sure if Pulsar is on the right track, but by e-reader, do you mean a card scanner? or an actualy ebok reader (ala Kindle and Nook)?
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

He means the Nintendo e-reader, obviously.

Yep, I knew, I just wanted to say it nicely, but the other post I was refering to got deleted. The post I was refering too was discussing the new "100 Classic Books" game for ds (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Product ... t_id=77239) and I just wanted to point out that way not the topic being discussed.

I read that, and by the time I read through it and understood it I went to quote it and it said it had been removed.

I love my e-Reader. Pinball, DK Jr, DK3, etc. There's some cool shit out there including e-Reader homebrew. Do a search, I believe I've posted links before. I also have a sealed copy of Urban Brawl (the only e-Reader game NOT re-released on either GBA or thru Animal Crossing emulation) for sale/trade. [/plug]

I use my e-Reader sometimes with Animal Crossing and some of the NES classic games. It's a cool accessory to have with your GBA. :D

Apologies for my apparent sneakiness

First time I hear of this e-reader.. I misread first post as asking about similar stuff. Anyone else uses their DS as an ebook device?

This. Even the Gamecube Action Replay won't unlock all the NES games for Animal Crossing.
