I currently own 5 systems: the previously mentioned Genesis, PS2 (silver slimline), Original Xbox, Sega Saturn and Super Nintendo. I am going to add some more systems once I have the money. I'm into anime ("Akira", "Ghost In The Shell" and "Naruto" are my faves), alternative rock and techno (especially Drum 'N Bass). My favorite game of all time is "Sonic The Hedgehog".

Welcome aboard Kev, there are actually quite a few of us located in Atlanta and the surrounding area, and there's a decent smattering throughout the South in general. Do you hit up the convention circuit in Atlanta?

Sup. I'm new. Mostly post on car forums, but I have an assload of video game stuff and I've been using the guides here. Pretty useful stuff. I think I've got about 12 systems and will hopefully be adding a NEO GEO to my collection soon.

Hey everyone,
long time gamer (and collector for that matter),
grew up playing Nintendo/Sega/Amiga games (started in late 80's) and since then had played on pretty much anything that followed the trend in the market (from PC-Engine, Neo Geo, CD-32 through current generation of 360/PS3).
Currently thinning my collection to absolute minimum (lack of space).
Cheers mateys :)

Whats up everyone, my name is Christiaan and I've been reading a ton and following guides from this site for a while and I finally decided to join. As I am a senior in college and the funds are lacking, I started remembering about games I grew up with in my childhood like Rayman/Pitfall/Tempest for the Jaguar, Sega Marine/Bass Fishing for DC Mario 64/Wave Race/Rogue Squadron for N64 and Abe's Odysee/Exxodus for PS1. Thats when my venture into retro gaming started to grow. I'm a huge dreamcast fan and have been since it came out and I recently got one from ebay with 10 games, one unopened Charge n' Blast, 4 controllers and 2 VMU's for $20. Not bad I think :D I'm hoping to get a Saturn soon as I'm back from a summer trip to China and a Wii to expand my GC game collection as well as Wii games. Thanks for all the great info. and guides on this site and hopefully I can find some good deals in the FS section in the future.

hey guys is tek here,i was born in '82.At age 4 or 5 i decided to play my nes all day everyday instead of riding bikes and playing like a normal kid.(i eventualy got around to that stuff lol).I attended the nintendo challange/championships in madison sq garden(ny,ny)back in the day.I owe this little tidbit to my passion for gaming today.I ve owned 75% of retro games and consoles.(although never kept any of it..sad mistake..)up until several months ago i was strictly gaming on xbox 360 until a special issue of game informer mentioned racketboy and holy grails and then my childhood persona emerged.I could go on forever but to make a long story short. Thanks to your site Ive converted retro as a gamer with an addiction to collection as a profession. This site is amazing anything you need to know is here at its best.Im a fan of RPGs,Survival Horror,& 1st person shooters.systems-360.ps2.gc w/gba player.sega gensis model2.snes.n64.gba sp.current favs-suikoden(ps1),smt devil summoner(ps2),ff3(snes),mario kart dd(w/wife),deadly premonition(360),farcry2 map editing(360).My next additions will be dreamcast and saturn(although saturn titles i must own seem hard to aquire). As for the systems i do own,any gem games priced low or high i do own w/cib no scratches or prints.looking foward to being part of the community for a long time to come!!!

My name is Chris. I'm a 21 yearold unemployd former electrician, who loves horror & sci fi movies, and I have two cats. I'm addicted to coffea, and one day I looked for my old N64, but then I found out I had given it away about three years ago. Natrually I was sad, but I soon found an identical copy on the Swedish ebay site. Now, I'm trying to improve the movement of one of the analog stick of the two controllers that came with the game, and trying to figure out a way to build some kind of adapter between a Gamecube controller and a Nintendo 64.

Hey whatup people, I'm IFA. 21 years old, college student, blah blah. I'm a huuuge retro gamer...Major focus is on all things Nintendo 64 and NES, but I'm also fascinated with all those obscure little consoles and games from the past...Ahh good stuff. I'm a sucker for nostalgia...So yeah, hey everybody. Hoping to have a place to share my love of old games and get some more ideas for other games and obscure consoles to check into more. Cheers!
