Kirby Epic Yarn for the Wii

I thought it was revealed for the 3DS? oops.


I still like the art (and craft) direction though.

I love the style. It's so unique to have the arts & craftsy approach to a game, and it looks like they have come up with some interesting ideas about how to play off of that and utilize the 3D of the new DS. I'm not a big Kirby fan. I think he's kind of a lame character really, but this game looks great. It has a creative and light-hearted style that I appreciate. I hope the concept works and looks great in 3d.

yeah this is going to be a major problem with the 3DS being as strong as the wii in the graphics department.

I like the style, but the soundtrack kills any motivation I have to play it. Soundtracks these days really suck.

I'm sure it will be good. Overly kiddie visuals can damper my desire to play a game, but a solid creative 2d platformer is hard to resist.

This looks effing awesome. My favorite E3 reveal this year (though that isn't saying much, personally). I am a huge sucker for anything with unique or cutesy art direction and this has BOTH. and I've never even played a Kirby game...

All these kinds of decisions are usually based on focus groups or their target markets. It must be what lots of young kids are saying now, not just nerds on the net. Weird.
