Whoops... Amazon is temporarily sold out of them. Other retailers don't know when they are going to get them. I pre ordered mine from *sigh* gamestop. But they don't even know when it will get released.

Whoa, that's a downer.

What worries me is how deep that scratch is. That was a decent amount of movement, but the result was a massive scratch. I'm afraid that a little amount of movement could result in a moderate scratch, or even a tiny amount of movement resulting in a sufficient scratch. Either way, if I got one, it certainly wouldn't be left standing up.

Wow, I see instead of fixing that problem, they just made it worse.

They've shifted from the "buy the console over and over" business model to the "buy the game over and over" business model. Considering the manufacturing costs of DVDs vs. Consoles this seems like a smart move on Microsoft's part.

Exactly. Don't be an idiot and everything will be just fine :D. I guess that awful noise will make sure no one ever does it twice.

Yeah, but the article does bring up an interesting point about young kids playing Kinect games and bumping into it. Hey, if a Wiimote can fly out of your hand and shatter a television, a player can be jumping around to a motion game and accidentally knock over his console, completely ruining the game in the process.
