So yeah...I'll just set up a direct deposit from my bank account to Nintendo's coffers. Problem solved.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Ditto.
There has been some good output from Nintendo recently and this E3 is getting me excited about what's to come. I might finally buy a current gen system and it might be a Wii. Although... Last Guardian could convince me that it should be a PS3.

Thoughts? I think this is going to be a great game but will obviously not hold up to any previous DKC releases. I also really hope it's compatible with the classic controller.

That's what you get for not trusting Nintendo. Their lineup was phenomenal this year.
Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns
if there's any devs I trust to handle old franchises, it's the appropriately named Retro Studios. Really excited about this.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns
so Retro Studios is the new Rare
:D:D. can't wait to see what they do with the franchise. That trailer was epic.
I loved the part were you use your buddy in different ways. For example how Diddy did a helicopter move with his tail to carry donkey kong, or how donkey became a ball of ownage and Diddy jumped on him to move him around

Somehow that sounds awfully familiar.
