Hey it looks better than the last 3/4 games so sign me up. I'll at least keep an eye on it.

That Kung Lao fatality is awesome. Looks like MK took a cue from SF4 and made the game play like MK2/3, but with 3D models. This definitely looks worth a purchase.

Yeah, I watched the video and was amazed. I actually found myself saying something I hardly find myself saying anymore with game ads. "That looks like fun."

I'm not sure that I liked the look of the game, but lord, I didn't see what was coming even when he stuck his hat in the ground... That was gruesome. And the flourish as he put the hat back on just perfected it.

So I'm guessing this evolved in the Mortal Kombat Legacy series, which actually ain't too bad. I haven't seen much discussion on it here. The first two episodes I thought were okay, but not great. However, episodes 3,4,5 and 6 were pretty cool. I'm not saying it's good enough for the Hollywood treatment, but for a web based series, it's a pretty good effort. It doesn't have any of the classic MK camp to it, but I think it still works

So any thoughts? I know some people will probably turn their noses up at it, but I'm curious to see if some of you like it. I think splashchick is a fan. Anyone else? I particularly like the Kitana/Mileena episode with its mix of styles a la Kill Bill, though they picked an odd casting choice for Shao Kahn

EDIT: I actually think we should rename this topic Mortal Kombat Legacy
