My gaming "room" and my game collection

Post by ZeroAX »

Here is my gaming room, which is really my living room (well part of it)

Image

My PC games (lot's more on steam and gog)

Image

Image

Image

My Mega Drive games minus a lose cartridge of Micro Machines, and a boxed copy of Virtua Fighter 2 (forgot I had them when I took this picture)

Image

My Gamecube collection. Unfortunately I used to have 25 games for it, but traded most of them for Wii games. Some good games among them (Luigi's Mansion, Tales of Symphonia.... that's about it)

I've only kept my absolute favorite games.

Image

My Nintendo handheld collection. Again I had way more games which I gave away to baby cousins or traded them for other games. Used to have a Gameboy which I threw away since I had both a GB Color and a GBA

Image

Really shaky shot of my Wii games. I also have Excite Truck and No More Heroes 1 but I've let a friend borrow them.

Image

My PSone collection......well.....if you can call it that.

Image

My PS2 collection. Can you believe I haven't finished a single one of these games? Also Onimusha and Burnout were given to me with my PS2 that's why they seam so random compared with the rest of my collection.

Image

My PS3 collection. These I've beaten all, expect Folklore, Resonanse of Fate.

Image

my PSP collection and a lovely LBP case for my lovely vibrant blue PSP :D

Image

And finally all of the consoles and boxes I currently own.

Image

Sorry for the bad lighting, shaken shots and crappy layout, but I don't have any space to house my collection, so everything that is not currently used goes in the closet and I only had free time to take these shots during the night.

Not bad, not bad. THrowing away a gameboy is bad though. You at least could have given it to some relative, or even sell it to some store for a dollar.

thanks, and just the gas to the game store would cost me more. Besides the up button barely worked, that's why I threw it away. It was fine for playing Tetris and Mario but try playing pokemon with that thing. Every time I had to move north it felt like an actual uphill hike

Sonic Adventure 2 is one of your absolute favourite GC games? Don't get me wrong, I own it too and liked it back in the day, but I wouldn't put it up there in my top 3!

Cool Wii collection. I've been meaning to pick up No More Heroes 2, Zack and Wiki and Little King's Story. How are they? But Ratatouille? :?

What's Yakuza 2 like as well? I liked the original but the random fights in the street + loading times got on my nerves a bit.

yeah I really liked Sonic Adventure 2. Let me rephrase that. I LOVED the sonic and shadow stages in SA 2. I liked SA2 way more than Mario Sunshine. The only games I want to add to my Gamecube collection are Luigi's Mansion, Baten Kaitos and maybe the Megaman X RPG.

Zack and Wiki was ok, some really clever puzzles but too much trial and error. Still it was a good enough game. Little King's story is like Pikmin if it wasn't boring :P. I haven't really played that much yet. It came in the mail yesterday and I am currently playing No More Heroes 2, so it will have to wait.

Yakuza was given to me by my cousin, but to tell you the truth I haven't even touched them yet. I hear they are the best, but I'm just not in the mood, to try them out, right now.

Also Rattatooie was free with my baby cousins' wii and I tried it out, and it's a fun, though plain 3D platformer. Found it for 10€ and thought what the heck. That was before I discovered crazy online stores that sell AAA games for 10-20 € once they pass the 6 months from release mark.

Two things I like

A boxed Ratch and Clank:Quest for Booty, since they screwed US gamers over and made the game download only

Even though I'm not much of a PC gamer, I still have to smile at seeing a boxed Monkey Island game. And Escape wasn't as bad as some people say

As a die hard MI fan, I agree its not as bad as people say, but it is not even close to being on the same level as other MI games (the Tales series utterly killed it and showed how a 3D Monkey Island should be) or even other LucasArts games for that matter.

Dreamfall is a great adventure game, though I liked The Longest Journey more.

Nice collection.

I also have FF8 boxed :D.

You want to know what's the best part? The boxed version of Quest for Booty costs less than the PSN version.

I like The Longest Journey more as well, but I don't have it as a normal release. I have it as a magazine give away. I have many games from that magazine, but I don't really collect them. Over the years I've got about 10 games I actually liked, from magazine give aways.
