Recently i've been thinking of this superclassic arcade game from the 80's but i can't figure out the name. It's super famous...
It was like a birds eye view perspective of an octagon and you could move your ship around the edges of this octagon. Enemies would come towards you on these "lanes" around the octagon and you had to move in the right lane and shoot them down.
Someone please make me sleep tonight.
