Bunny Lake Is Missing
Saw this on Netflix lastnight and i realized my love for black & white movies all over again. I think tonight I will have to add quite a few of them to my queue

Ugh. I disagree. I haven't seen Alice, but with the possible exception of Big Fish, I don't think Burton has made a good movie since 1994's Ed Wood. I think he's extremely overrated, coasting on a rep he built in a 5-10 year period 15-20 years ago.REPO Man wrote:Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Loved it. Not Burton's best, but even his worst is still better than the best of many other directors out there.
Just finished it.. This movie is Very Good, better than the Sixth Sense at any rate. This is a philosophical/mythological drama not a horror movie, I don't know who pitched it to you as one but they're certainly quite mistaken. I also liked how they didn't try to hide the final 'twist'.Snickerd00dle wrote:I watched Jacob's Ladder yesterday- I enjoyed it but did not think that it was as freaky as everyone made it out to be. Is that because most of the general public saw it and aren't exposed to weirder? or because I watch lots of really messed up stuff? I will have to think about that

For me it was hard to decipher where or not you just like the image of what Tony Montana was or if you were a Al Pacino fan. Now I know.emwearz wrote:(if you cant tell from my avatar I am a monster fan).

It wasn't pitched to me as a horror movie, just a weird one and certainly freaky at parts, I just did not think it was as bad as people made it out to be---regardless, I loved the moviePulsar_t wrote:Just finished it.. If there isn't a "bazinga" @ the end of that, someone's gonna get shot in the face!dsheinem wrote:Ugh. I disagree.
