What "Great" game did you end up hating?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

COD

It leaves this bland taste in my mouth every time I play it. For some reason, the gameplay just seems way too repetitive for me.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum

98% of the new Pokemon were uncreative and dumb. OH LOOK!! YOU FOUND ANOTHER BIDOOF!!! No matter what kind of pig, squirrel, or duck they decide to use next, I will still be sitting at home playing the 1st gen Pokemon games.

Mario 64.

I know it's supposedly great. I've tried it a dozen times. Every time I give up and swear in frustration. I'm of the opinion that a good Mario game only needs three things: Left, Right, and the obstacles in-between.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Both of mine have been said... OOT and Assassin's Creed. I have nothing against Zelda and it seems like a fine game, but I cannot get into it. However, Assassin's Creed just needs to go to hell.

The Halo series, I find them so outdated, the first one was fine for its time, but they all play close to exactly the same using a old method of play. So overrated.

Would "any FPS after Doom II, that's not Half-Life 2" count as a qualified response..??

Yeah. I looked forward to that one for months, bought it when it first came out and gave up on it after a couple hours. Funny thing is I still hold out hope that I will like it someday. Even though I loathe the N64, I can't sell it or give it away in the hopes that one day I will sit down and play OOT and it will be all I wanted it to be.

Mario sunshine, I hadn't played any of the 3d mario games. I heard that if you are going to play sunshine play it before galaxy. I haven't played Mario 64 either. I have already 100% NSMBW. I have done the same on Super Mario World. But I don't know if I want to finish this game.

I would say the majority of FPS games like Call of Duty I like it but got bored with it.

Sunshine was worth playing just for the mini-bonus levels. They shouldve made a game just with those bonus levels. They made me horny.
