What "Great" game did you end up hating?

Agreed. I have a hard time enjoying the newer Metal Slugs themselves, why would I want to play something that's almost exactly like it?

I mean, every time I tried playing AH, I just wish I was playing Metal Slug. I think that says enough.

I had never played Street Fighter until street fighter 3 and I loved SF3 so naturally I went back to play SF2.

I hate SF2 with a passion its not the graphics its not the controls I just cant play it. I think SF3 set the bar for me and going from a complex fighter like SF3 to one thats a little more tame just throws me off. That and I hate SF2 characters except for a few.

I tried playing Ocarina of Time and only got 30 minutes in before I turned it off out of boredom. I've never been a huge fan of Zelda games to begin with, but I just couldn't get into OoT at all. Link to the Past, on the other hand, I thought was a great game, despite my disdain towards Zelda games.

That's probably because the Metal Slug games were actually well designed, unlike the random chaos that is Alien Hominid

well i didn't hate it, but had absolutely no interest to finish it. and i am pretty sure i will never ever play another rpg again. besides FFVII. which i have beaten probably a dozen times.

I hated Oot First time I played it. I ended up eventually liking it.

I'm not a huge fan of the Genesis Sonic games. I usually get pissed at it more than have fun.

I know it didn't get the best reviews, but Assassin's Creed. It got hyped to hell, got decent reviews. . . blech.

Pretty much every military game I've ever played.

Metroid Prime games... I don't really hate them, but the aimless wandering is so damn boring.

Agreed. Before I got the game I heard it was greater than God himself. So after I finally played it I wasn't that impressed with it. It's a good game but by the time I got to Magus Castle I couldn't go on anymore, I just got sooo bored with it

Also people rave about the metroidvania games and I really don't like them outside of SOTN. I just prefer the old 2-d side scrollers
