What do you dislike the most about your favorite console?

I wonder if it would be possible to make a software emulator for the DS that would allow you to play an actual GB/GBC cart? .............

I'm pretty sure you'd run into a connector problem. I don't think the DS/DSlite can even fit a standard gameboy cart. I honestly think that Wii style software emulation would be the way to go.

My favorite console is the PS2. I hate the memory cards. They don't have enough room on them and there is no easy way to catalog them. Transferring data across cards takes forever because you have to do it one by one. I can never remember which of my loose cards has the save on it I am looking for. I wish I could keep my saves in one organized and centralized location.

If we also include PCs, I hate never knowing for sure if the game will play on my system. Sometimes it's too graphically intense, sometimes it's too old. The system requirements help, but they are not a sure bet. I usually have to spend an hour tinkering with settings before I can play a game. GAH! The customizability of PCs, accuracy of the mouse, and easy access to the internet make it all worthwhile, but sometimes I just want to put in the game and play like on a console.

SNES - I'll have to change batteries in all of my battery-saved games, meaning I'll have to open up expensive RPGs to do it. I shudder at the thought of it, but I also shudder at the thought of losing my saves.

I totally forgot about this and I agree 100%. It's a pain in the ass to lose saves on SNES games but opening up a copy of Lufia 2 is scary. I just recently lost my saves on Super Metroid : (

That really sucks about Super Metroid. Thankfully I've beaten Lufia 2, so I won't go back to it for a long time. But I've recently started playing Breath of Fire, and I'm terrified I'll turn it on one day to discover my save file deleted.

See this wouldnt bee too big of a griipe if The DS DIDNT ACTUALLY USE THAT SLOT FOR ITS OWN GAMES! If I got a DSi, I wouldnt be able to play Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk motion (that game sucks anyway, but thats not the point), and I cant use the rumble pack now. Bullshit.
