HELP!

Post by jemsic »

I recently got Space Harrier for Saturn on ebay, and I wanted to make an image of it so I could patch it and play it on my NTSC-U Saturn (chipped). But I can't get it to work. It keeps saying "Game Disc Unsuitable for this System". I've burned three coasters already.

First Coaster: Ripped in Bin+Cue, patched to NTSC-U with satcconv.exe, burned with Nero at 8x.
Second Coaster: Ripped in Bin+Cue, patched to NTSC-U with SRP.exe, burned with Nero at 8x.
Third Coaster: Ripped in Mds+Mdf, patched to NTSC-U and NTSC-B with SRP.exe, burned with Alcohol at 8x.

So does anybody know why I can't get this to work? I've successfully ripped and patched Virtua Cop 1 + 2 (both NTSC-J) to NTSC-U and played them on my Saturn. I can't figure out for the life of me why Saturn Space Harrier won't work.

there are 2 region areas written on the IP.BIN of every cd, and I believe satconv only changes the 1

I believe according to this guys source, that it has the ability to do so, perhaps i should talk to this guy to show him how to allow all regions no matter the game, instead of limiting it to what is provided

Thanks for the info. I read what he wrote on that page, and it turns out the burning program was correcting the region change automatically without telling me, because it read it as an error. But I followed directions on his page and got it working. Thanks
