P.E
It was the vacation of my school day.
The hardest part of high school was staying awake in half the classes. didn't have to worry about that in P.E

There were plenty of elective classes I enjoyed everything else depended on the teacher.

What a coincidence that this thread should pop up; I'm taking my 11th grade exams today. Right now, I'm taking US History, Bible , Chemistry, and Advanced Algebra. My Bible teacher is probably the the sickest, most evil teacher in the entire school; he gives us amounts of homework that you wouldn't expect until college, and has a total of 8 essay questions on the exam. I'll be glad to be out of his class.

My favorite subject in high school was last year, in World History. My teacher in that class was awesome, and I got an easy A. Unfortunately, they fired him at the end of that year due to budget cuts. What a shame.

I also liked my Mechanical Engineering class last year. It's the only class I can think of where the exam consists of building battling robots. Yeah, it was fun. Also, I was really close to convincing my teacher in that class to let me take the robot home, and use it as a segway-like scooter!

My high school had a great vocational program, which sadly is missing from most schools today. On top of that an experimental 3 year program called flex day happened during my tenure there. Every Tuesday and Thursday the student would decide which classes to attend. Still managed Bs and okay some Cs even when spending all day in the shops. That said, favorites were Auto Shop, Welding, Metal Shop, Woodshop and finally Drafting. There was also a startup computer lab that I didn't take, but visited once in a while. The computer "screen" was a 6 inch wide continuous printout. Pissed off the lab teacher playing Super Star Trek.

Crazy thing is I hated English and History but now love the History Channel.

Math & Science. The only things worth learning.

Worst subject: English. For a subject that's supposed to have no right answers, I sure found a lot of wrong ones. As far as I'm concerned if you have to teach a class telling people how to interpret your work, you have failed at using the English language for communication.

Toss up between World History and Tech. At my school tech was a four year setup with one year being drafting/pc, one year being shop, and two years being video. My World History teacher taught us half history, half conspiracy theory, and he explained it very clearly. It is the only class that I kept my notes from.

Granted one of my math teachers did get me into arcade game auctions. Oh that was a very unique year.

I really enjoyed the tech classes I got to take (3D modeling mostly) along with Film History and Film Production. I enjoyed sneaking little subliminal messages into each short film. Good times.

As far as core classes- World History and U.S. History all the way. I hated math but am learning to somewhat enjoy it now.

Health class consisted of me skipping class and smoking pot in the woods behind the school. I probably ended up learning more valuable lessons that way anyway :|

I agree with the teachers comments here. If the teacher sucks, the class sucks. If the teacher know how to teach and treat his students then it's all good. History was my favorite subject.
