Streets of Rage Hardest difficulty/No damage with Blaze

Post by Gamerforlife »

The player in this video really knows what he's doing. Single segment, not a TAS. If you've ever wondered how this old classic is MEANT to be played, here it is. I love no damage runs, especially for beat'em ups. They show a level of finesse that I appreciate

All well known glitches and abuses of the engine. But still an excellent effort to maintain patience for that length of time.

I've tried similar things myself, and ended up just going a little nuts half way through the game and done something silly/risky, and screwed up. If anything, this is more a showing of great self control rather that specific skill.

Seems like there's way too many good games to be playing to spend so much time perfecting yourself on just one. Then again maybe I'm just saying that because I suck at games and could never accomplish something like that. If the game lets me play it all the way through on easy mode that's what I pick =P

Easy mode, you play games on easy mode? Shame on you

Kidding of course, play however you want, but I have too much pride for easy modes and I don't feel like I'm really experiencing the whole game since they change or cut things out when you play games on easy mode. Personally, I don't think there's any excuse for people to play anything on easy. Play on normal and just keep practicing I say.

But yeah, the guy playing the vid has a lot of patience. He's even done Gunstar Heroes on expert with no damage. Now if that isn't impressive, I don't know what is.
