My local pawn shop are really odd, yesterday when I went they had Tony Hawk 3 on the NGC for $10 and Beyond Good & Evil for 5, boxed NGC for $19 and two unboxed for $49, I hate when this happens but at the same time I love it because I get deals a lot.

Yeah, this is usually what I run into. Most of the pawn shops near me are chain owned (Cash America, etc) and usually don't buy or sell retro games. Maybe this is because the plethora of used game shops in the area is filling the void.

Like yard sales and whatnot, you generally have to hit a few before you stumble onto any kind of worthwhile selection.

To be fair, that 89.99 NES has probably been there since 1988.

It wasn't. When I was there two weeks ago some guy had just brought it in with Zombies ate my neighbors.

Sounds like you might just have to deal strictly with the Manager on this one. The other guy seems like a real dick!

But yeah, got nuttin' but love for my local pawn shops. That's where I get like 80% of my games these days.
