Mine was math and history. Math to me was like playing games, I love the puzzle part about it. While history is learning all the mistakes and happenings people did in the past that are basically happening again today in a different term that is.
The subject I hated the most was P.E. I always get pick last because I was a skinny kid.
I absolutely loved History class, awesome class with an awesome teacher. My computer class was awesome as well, because we barely did any work. And P.E. sucked for me also I just hated it.
Are we talking about the core subjects? Or just any class in high school in general?
I really don't have a subject that I don't like. You just have to have the right teacher. For example, when I first took Biology I couldn't stay awake. My teacher was boring as hell. I took Bio again the next year and had an awesome teacher which gave me more of an interest in the class. But teachers aside, I liked all the subjects I took in high school. At least, I can't remember any that I didn't.
Anyways, my favorite class I took was Astronomy. I fucking love astronomy, it has always fascinated the hell out of me.
My favorite class in High School was either AP Physics B or C. I took B my junior year, since it was the only AP Physics offered. However, since many of the students wanted to be engineers (myself included), they offered AP Physics C the following year. You need Physics C if you want to use it as college credit towards an Engineering degree.
It was so much fun! Unfortunately, the school wouldn't let me get credit for taking Physics C, since I had already taken Physics B, even though Physics C has Calculus and B doesn't. So I had to also take Anatomy and Physiology, which is the science class that people who didn't like science took. It was still fun, but a lot of tedious memorization.
History, because for me, it was all about good stories and I love a good story. I liked literature classes for the same reason. I liked my history teachers too, though I took an advanced history class once and one of my fave teachers become one of my most hated after that. She made AP history far more difficult than it needed to be and the whole class felt the same way. We often disputed her test answers too. God, that class sucked.
French class was great because I already knew French pretty well so it was an easy A every time. And my teachers always liked me
I generally didn't like science and math classes, though interestingly enough I was so good in chemistry that my teacher tried to get me to work on projects for science fairs and stuff like that. Didn't hold my interest though. I find science fascinating, but more so in the sense that I like seeing what other scientists discover. I was never interested in being one myself. Too many numbers and just too complicated overall, though I did have a knack for chemistry for some odd reason

Seriously. Screw you Shao Kahn I'm gonna play Animal Crossing.
My favorite class was woodworking. It's something that I still enjoy doing today even though I'm a software engr. The teacher (nicknamed "R") was pretty good. I took 4 years worth and would spend lunch time & after school time in the classroom.
One of the years the class was CM & M (Construction Materials & Manufacturing). Half the year was spent on coming up with a project design and then the class manufactured/sold it. The project we came up with was a wall sconce. It had a small flower box with flowers and a small mirror. We went door-to-door taking orders, then after we manufactured the pieces, we delivered them. They were around $25/$30 each (1984 prices). All in all, we ended up with around $10K profit which was reinvested into the shop (the teacher bought new equipment such as cabinet saw, lamello biscuit joiner, power feeder, etc).
There's something very satisfying when you create something with your hands. One of these days, I will have my own shop. Until then, I collect tools and be a carpenter/plumber wanna-be.
Favorite? I really couldn't say, I had many excellent courses in high school. JROTC, Video Production, AP English, various mathematics courses...there was a lot to like.
I will say I disliked my Chemistry class more than any other. Subscripts and element combinations are beyond me, even though I tried very hard to learn them. Physics was considerably easier for me.
