I can start late this week. I want to finish at least one other game first (most likely Bioshock 2).
Sounds like a plan. I'll start over this weekend with SOTN.
As for 9 other games, the ones I listed will probably be enough for me with work and the family, but they will all act as filler while I focus on Castlevania first.

I'm in! I own more than a few games that I'm ashamed to have never beat. Here are my ten.

Super Mario Bros.
Super Metroid
Earthbound
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Braid
Portal
Half Life 2
Fallout 3
Guardian Heroes
Shadow of the Colossus

I'll probably start Earthbound once it arrives in the mail, which will hopefully be tomorrow! :)

*Edit - I'm going to go ahead and add The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition to this list. I know it makes my list go up to eleven, but I'm game.

Not as ambitious as some of you folks (that and I'm taking summer classes...ugh) so I'm only aiming to finish these five games.

-Final Fantasy X
-Secret of Mana 2 (SD3)
-Mega Man Zero Collection
-Mega Man ZX: Advent (Grey's Story)
-Metroid Prime 2 (Trilogy Version)
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

This is so funny, recently I started logging the games I have finished to try and force myself to finish some of the biggies I have not completed. Im killing games at a fast rate at the moment.

Its a great idea.

ha, thats what im doing right now, finishing up the last few missions of borderlands--Bioshock 2 was great though! I played as evil
Ok, I finished up Bioshock 2 (I got the good ending). I'll probably start on SOTN Friday or Saturday. So...you, Spacebooger, and I are playing it? Anyone else?

I'm tempted to play through it again since I just finished Rondo of Blood for the first time, but since I just played through SotN last summer I think I'd rather spend my time with some of the stuff I haven't beat yet. I would love to join in the discussion though! SotN is one of my favorite games of all time.

Just out of curiosity - how long is SOTN for a standard first-time run through? I know you can get 200+%, but if I just want to play through the story and maybe do an average of amount of detouring, exploring, etc. - how long should it take?
