NES paint job

Post by kenshin-dono »

just thought id share this here. I did my first paint job on an NES. It was my original system from when i was little. A buddy of mine broke the door off and chipped it wrestling around in my room several years back. He gave me his old NES recently to replace it since im restoring all my stuff. I bought a new door and decided to paint it up since it had yellowing on it. It came out really well actually, i was surprised. If i had known it would have come out thsi well, i would have patched up the chip on the front =(

anyway, like i said i just thought id share. Heres the pics. I did it silver to match the ps2 slim and dvd player it sits with on my console rack

Very clean, looks like you either repainted the logos or a very good masking job. 8)

thanks i was trying to make it low key. I wanted to keep it close to the original NES, and blend in with the other electronics i was putting it with. But since the paint worked so well i kinda want to try soemthing more elaborate now but im outa consoles lol. Maybe i'll screw with my extra 3rd genesis =P
