Upcoming Deus Ex is being Co-developed with Squareenix staff
Upcoming Deus Ex is being Co-developed with Squareenix staff
You're probably wondering, did they seriously do the CG? there are times when you look at parts of a game, you can pretty much guess the origin of the style. Well, I don't play a lot of fps, but hopefully this game turns out alright. I would like to see Square enix do a Tomb Raider game
Re: Upcoming Deus Ex is being Co-developed with Squareenix staff
I expect a lot of zippers, heroes with amnesia/poor self-esteem, and the most out of balance CG / Actual Gameplay ratios possible.
...was that too cheap a shot?

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Just cause 2 was okay.
But Square Enix didn't really do too much with that.
You now realize that Square Enix will ruin Lara croft more than Eidos did.

Square Enix, oh how you have fallen.
I might've been excited in the FF7/Xenogears/Parasite Eve/Vagrant Story/etc days.

The main character of DE3 already looks like a japanese inspired generic-male. The series doesn't deserve this....

Square won't allow a non-prettyboy male lead in their games. No seriously, it's why Vaan was created for FF12 instead of Basch being the main character.BigTinz wrote:The main character of DE3 already looks like a japanese inspired generic-male. The series doesn't deserve this....

Yes. However the next one is a little different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lara_Croft ... n_of_LightBoringSupreez wrote:Is SE making the next Tomb Raider game?yomomma1 wrote:Just cause 2 was okay.

Surely they're just the publishers?

I cry a little every time I think about that :'(AppleQueso wrote:Square won't allow a non-prettyboy male lead in their games. Yeah I'm not too excited about this game anymore.
1) The last one was crap as well
2) The people making this game don't seam to have any idea what made number 1 so good (seeing as they say Deus Ex didn't have a lot of action and suspense, which is quite "WTF is he talking about?". that game had memorable moment after memorable moment, with excellent pacing, locations, dialogue and action parts)
3) SE will handle the marketing and put the guy who played in Twilight in the lead so they can sell it to teenage girls and Japanese people.
4) It's a prequel. Really, does anyone usually care what happened before the game/movie they are playing/watching?
I sure as hell did not care what happened with Zack before FF7
