Nice, I enjoyed watching that. Never had the 3D Saturn controller so this was a nice video for me to check it out a little.

Also, I need to get me some Duke Nukem 3D and Night Striker S.

Good stuff. I need to either have another look at trying to fix the plug on the one I have or get another one.

What's wrong with it, Hobie?

I had a SS controller that wasn't working and I noticed that one of the pins on the plug was receded. I popped open the plug and pushed the pin back up then hot glued it so it wouldn't move back again. I was just wondering if you had a similar problem or if it was something else.

The actual plug end is hanging loose. Was like that when I got it. I looked just now, none of the pins are slid back. The wires are still connected to the pins. The controller works because I've tried it with another cord. I need to get around to testing continuity from one end to the other. Guess I'll do that in a bit now that you got me to dig it out again.

I loved this video, I have always planned on picking one up, but have not had the money or found one cheap.

Do we know a list of compatible games?

So I'd messed with it 2 or 3 times before and it didn't want to work. I cracked open the plug end, tested continuity and all seemed good. Tested it again and it is magically working. *shrug* So I cleaned dirt out of the buttons and fixed it so the plug will stay in and its all good now.

I'm not a big fan of this controller, nor it's successor the dreamcast controller. Both are big and cumbersome and dont feel comfortable in my hands at all. Aswell as that, they bothhave absolutely horrible feeling buttons, and neither feels as precise as it should when I use them. It's a real shame, because I loved the master system, mega drive and original saturn control pads.
