Blue Velvet is my favorite film of all time. Rivers Edge and Red Rock West are also pretty good Hopper films.

Rest in Peace. Dennis Hopper will be missed. Dennis Hopper was kind of the Sam Jackson of his time. He was in every fucking movie. He always played a crazy guy with wild eye movements. He took took roles in genius movies, and he took roles in direct-to-video sequels. Then he'd blow all the money he made and take the next acting job that came along. He pretty much continued that pattern his whole life.
The first Movie I saw him in was My Science Project. They used to show that movie all the time on cable when I was a little kid.
Here's another video game related bit o' Hopper trivia: Denis Hopper voiced Steve Scott in GTA Vice City.

Terrible news, what an amazing actor. I loved the spoken word cameo he did on the last Gorillaz album. Fantastic work.
